So my semester is winding down. I've finished all my classes, and now I just have to complete my final and finish up my sketchbook for the semester. Wednesday is our critique. This semester was fun but kind of rough. It wound up being a lot more stressful then I thought it would be.

I'm working on 4 comissions right now too, so that's kind of not helping the whole stress thing either. ...

Hey there!

Working on a lot of projects right now.... among them are a new original character. Not entirely sure what all I'm going to do with this character, but I'd like to do something along the lines of Hello Kitty or Emily the Strange. I'm not sure I want to go as far as creating story books for this character, we'll just have to see. I might do something like that.

Yay! One of my art commissions made a side show appearance on a Kent Trumbull commercial! They also posted the commercial on youtube. Watch below. It's the artwork I did for the Tartuffe show. Look at the 20 second time stamp.

If only Spring Break meant I didn't have to work. Sigh. Although I have no classes, I still have other things to take care of this week. So the newest upcoming play for Kent Trumbull Theatre is a one woman show performed by Rebecca Maher entitled Pancakes and a Lobster Tank, Living with Autism and Loving Alex. It's a comedic piece that talks about the relationship between a mother and her autistic son.

Going to see Tartuffe tonight! Which is the play that I did the artwork a while back. Take a look in my gallery and you can see what I did!

I'm excited because my friends are also in town and they are going with us to see the play as well. And although I love my children, it's nice to get a night out without them every once in awhile!

So here is the completed piece that I just finished. I wasn't sure how I felt about this one, but it's growing on me.  And I'm really kind of pleased considering I don't do a whole lot of color illustration.
