3 months, 1 week By Allyson

Hey Everyone!

I decided I'm going to take a break on Sundays. But it's Monday and I'm back to blogging. This week I'm going to dedicate to looking at artists and their work.

The first one for this week is Japanese artist Riusuke Fukahori who paints 3 dimensional representations of goldfish using paint and layers of resin in wooden containers. His artwork is amazing and mind boggling when you watch videos about the process of how he accomplishes it. He's yet another example of the dedication and discipline that the Japanese seem to display in every aspect of their lives.

I actually first heard about this artist through my cousin Falon who also happens to be an artist. If you would like to check out her pages on Deviant Art here's the site: Falon's Page

If you are interested in learning more about Riusuke Fukahori and seeing his beautiful sculptures, please check out the following links:

Okay, I hope you like Fukahori's Goldfish Salvation as much as I do. If you feel so inclined, leave a message below. I do require registration but I don't sell emails. It's purely an attempt to keep out spammers. I'd love to hear your thoughts.

Always ~ Allyson
