Egypt's people plead for democracy

Hi Everyone:
So I know I don't usually do these sorts of posts but I have been following the progress of Egypt for awhile now and I just couldn't help but post about it. It's incredibly exciting to see the possible birth of a new Democracy!
Egypt's people plead for democracy and the dismissal of Mubarek and his son. Some of the pictures posted are heart wrenching, and others are heart warming to see that a group of people could care about something so passionately and as wonderful and powerful as democracy.
I'm an American who appreciates democracy and the freedoms it affords me. Yet I'm saddened that so many of my fellow Americans appear to forget or be unaware of those same freedoms that give the ability to have free access to information not only from our own country but from around the world. To be able to say what's on our minds and in our hearts without fear of repercussions for saying such things. Even if what we say maybe not be the most intelligent opinion, its the idea that we have the right to say it. The freedom to say it.
My heart goes out to all Egyptians right now who are demonstrating their desires for democracy. I pray for your country and that the best possible outcome will occur, and that you get your heart's desire and not lose hope. These are exciting times. And though it's dangerous for you I wish you all the luck and blessings in the world in accomplishing your wills.
