Technically this wasn't commissioned. But its a colored pencil drawing that I did of my nieces as a present for my sister-in-law. She had no idea that I was going to do it. She was incredibly thrilled with it and very happy with the turn out. I'm going to have the reference photo on here soon, so that viewers can make a comparison.
Things that I changed up a little bit: In the original photo Sarah's bangs were way shorter. She had decided to give herself a hair cut. So I made them longer in the drawing. Also the pic that I had was older, and Julie had since grown hair. So I looked at a couple of more recent photos, and instead of drawing a bald baby, I added some hair on for her.
